Here's what IPG's President Jonathan Harris will be reading, gifting and hoping to get this Christmas!

My Christmas list includes Pandora's Jar by Natalie Haynes, a re-telling of Greek mythology with the female characters centre stage. I read her A Thousand Ships during lockdown and loved it. Also on my list is this year's Booker winner, Shuggie Bain by Douglas Stuart.

As a singer, my favourite Christmas books are the Oxford Carols for Choirs books 1 and 2 (affectionately known as the Green and Orange books). They're battered and well-thumbed, and taking them off the shelf always hints at that first mulled wine and mince pie!

Among the books I'll be giving this year are Bernadine Evaristo's Girl, Woman, Other which has been my personal read of the year, and the Exe Men, Robert Kitson's tale of the rise of Exeter Chiefs rugby club (my local team) from lower-league obscurity to the pinnacle of English and European rugby.
