The webinar features Marcus Simmons of LDN Apprenticeships, who will provide an overview of its programmes and what is expected of both sides; and Nicola Drury of Amazon, who will explain how the company can help publishers via its apprenticeship levy.

We will also have an apprenticeship case study from IPG member Welbeck Publishing. Editorial director Isabel Wilkinson will provide an employer’s perspective, while apprentice and editorial assistant Millie Acers tells us about her experience of the programme.

The webinar will be an excellent starting point for anyone who would like to develop apprenticeships. Please note that the programme it covers is for England only, though publishers in Scotland and Wales should also pick up some useful information. It’s a free webinar, and runs from 11am to 12pm on Thursday 10 February, to coincide with National Apprenticeship Week.
